Hosted by Andrea Thompson, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire UK, alongside a panel of global experts in beauty, the awards were a celebration of the latest innovations, and sustainability-led brands within the beauty, and wellness industry.

Supreme Creations was commissioned to supply the sustainable tote bags for the event – the leading awards for the beauty industry.

Smruti Sriram, CEO of Bags of Ethics/Supreme Creations was in attendance at the event and said “The Marie Claire awards, are a mark of excellence within the beauty awards. The commitment to finding the best ingredients, and the best purpose-driven brands as part of the selection process, was evident in the winners selected, and the audience in attendance. This was the crème-de-la-crème of the beauty industry, who showed support, and warmth, towards a shared goal of celebrating beauty for all, but especially women! Andrea and her team should be exceptionally proud of the community they have created.”

The natural canvas bags were chosen because of Marie Claire’s mission to use unbleached, and sustainable materials. The tote bag was filled with beauty goodies gifted from some of the best brands in the beauty industry.

The Bags of Ethics x Marie Claire bag was our popular, over the shoulder silhouette, printed using non-toxic, water-based REACH compliant inks.

All the bags were made by our 80%+ women workforce in Pondicherry, South India.

Some guests in attendance included award-winning beauty and fashion expert, and brand-owner, Trinny Woodall, celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, beauty expert Ruby Hammer MBE, model and friend of Bags of Ethics, Charli Howard.

Supreme Creations/ Bags of Ethics was a previous winner of the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards, Best in Supply Chain Fashion in 2022.

We were delighted to attend the Marie Claire Prix d'Excellence de la Beauté Awards on 4th March 2024 at the Corinthia, London.
