Dr. Ram, interviewed by Business Age, shed light on how the firm is being impacted by the Red Sea assaults by Houthi rebels. Over the past three months, our operations have faced considerable hurdles. Approximately 90% of our sea shipments have been affected by the Red Sea crisis, hampering exports to Europe, Australasia, and Africa.

Situated in Pondicherry, South India, our factory heavily depends on the nearby port of Chennai, a key global hub for maritime and air cargo. Currently, we’re experiencing delivery delays of 4-5 weeks as vessels are forced to reroute via the southern tip of Africa.
