Social impacts :
We decided to set up our own factory in Pondicherry, South India for a number of reasons – one being that we can enforce our own codes of ethics centred on fair wages, fair treatment, and fair occupational health and safety standards. We also have our own in-house labeling standard – Bags of EthicsTM – which focuses on promoting the planet and the people behind the product. Along with Bags of EthicsTM, our business has been recognised and certified by several external labeling standards, such as SEDEX.
