Wings of Hope Achievement Awards 2024/25 – Celebrating Student Impact and Inspirational Leadership
On Saturday, July 5th, 2025, the Grand Finals of the Wings of Hope Achievement Awards (WOHAA) 2024/25 lit up the halls of London Business School. This incredible evening marked the culmination of months of passion, perseverance, and purpose by student teams from across the UK. Following an exciting Semi-Finals event at the House of Lords, 26 shortlisted teams were selected to present their journeys and compete for awards across a wide range of categories.
From social enterprise and creative arts to technology and community service, this year’s WOHAA programme was a true celebration of the power of youth-led change.
The Finals ceremony, hosted by the ever-charismatic Aaron Roach Bridgeman, brought together hundreds of students, educators, parents, and special guests for an unforgettable evening. Performances from talented student musicians, dancers, poets, and speakers added to the vibrant and emotional atmosphere.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of awards by an esteemed panel of guests, including:
Mrs Rajni Sri Ram & Dr. R. Sri Ram – Co-Founders of The Wings of Hope
Dame Zandra Rhodes – Renowned Fashion Designer
Professor Simona Botti – Professor of Marketing, London Business School
Barbara Campos – CEO of Joseph
Each of these guests brought words of encouragement and inspiration, recognising the extraordinary efforts and achievements of the students.
The Overall Winners of the night were Team RKR Charities from St Paul’s Boys’ School, who excelled across all criteria — from fundraising and awareness to innovation and presentation. Their prize? An all-expenses-paid trip to India to teach at one of Wings of Hope’s education projects — a life-changing opportunity to make a global impact.
Other awards recognised excellence in entrepreneurship, community action, sport, arts, culinary innovation, and more. From Team Elixirz to Team Hands of Hope, students demonstrated that with teamwork, empathy, and creativity, real-world change is possible at any age.
The co-founders of Wings of Hope, Dr. Sri Ram and Rajni Sri Ram, closed the evening with a powerful reminder:
“Life is not a 100m sprint, but a marathon. What you’ve done over the last five months has given you life-long skills — in leadership, communication, resilience and community-building. You are all future leaders, and we couldn’t be prouder.”
