Supreme Creations, the world’s largest sustainable manufacturer of reusable bags, eco-friendly packaging and merchandise. The business is headquartered in London, UK, with 100% owned factory in Pondicherry, India, with teams across Europe.
Our label Bags of Ethics’ mission is to promote reusable behaviour through exceptional design, for consumers and businesses.
Our clients include Dior, London Fashion Week, Selfridges, Boots, Sephora, Tesco, Cannes Lions, and 60,000+ clients in the beauty, retail, fashion, hospitality, furniture, and lifestyle industries.
The business has been responsible for reducing over 30 billion+ single use items from entering the environment (plastic bags, bottles, cups, masks, and beauty packaging).
An award-winning business, the Supreme Creations group is known for championing women (80%+ of their workforce in the factory are women), and responsible manufacturing (low-waste design, upcycling at scale, water and energy reduction).
Bags of Ethics (Supreme Creations) is Fairtrade accredited, GOTS certified, SEDEX audited and the winner of the “Most Ethical Supply Chain” – Business in the Community; COP 26 Ambassador, UK Department for Business & Trade Business is GREAT ambassador, and various other award winners in design, sustainability, and responsible supply.

About Dr. R. Sri Ram
Founder, Supreme Creations Group, Co-Founder Wings of Hope Children’s Charity., Chair, UK-India Creative Circle
Dr. R. Sri Ram is a first-generation entrepreneur and has 40 years of management and leadership experience. He earned an honours degree in business and management, followed by a Ph.D in leadership studies.
He founded Supreme Creations in 1999 for the eco-packaging industry and built manufacturing facilities in South India and sales offices in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
The Supreme Group is one of the largest manufacturers in its field and has won numerous awards. It has developed into a strong team of 1000 designers, creators and makers.
Dr. R. Sri Ram has been at the forefront of bringing this behavioural change from single-use to reuse.
In the early 2000s, Supreme Creations worked with major supermarket brands Tesco, The Co-op, Sainsburys, John Lewis and Waitrose, to produce reusable bag alternatives to the single-use plastic ban.
This greatly influenced consumer buyer behaviour in the UK, reducing the use of almost 30 billion single use plastic bags over the years and making reusable bags the standard. In response to the demand, Dr. R. Sri Ram set up one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities, incorporating state of the art printing and fabrication services in his factory in Pondicherry, India.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, as a solution to single use face masks that caused environmental damage, Bags of Ethics/Supreme Creations collaborated with the British Fashion Council to introduce reusable designer face coverings with the masks retailed across the country with over £1 million raised for charities.
Dr. R. Sri Ram also founded the Wings of Hope Children’s Charity in 2003. It’s a UK based charity supporting children and young people in India, Malawi, and in the UK. With a focus on transferrable skills for life, the flagship programme, Wings of Hope Achievement Award (WOHAA), has empowered over 40,000 British students from 400+ schools and supported over 5,000 underprivileged students in India since it started. Flagship events include speed mentoring, and taking British students to teach in India.
In June 2025, Dr R. Sri Ram was announced as the Chair of the UK-India Creative Circle connecting British and Indian organisations to collaborate, and trade across the creative sectors of fashion, design, architecture, film, advertising and culture between the UK and India.
Sri is a visiting lecturer on leadership, enterprise and sustainable packaging at London Business School, The Grossman School of Business at the University of Vermont, USA, The Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, India and the University of Pondicherry.
Sri is an author and has released a book; Change-Slow and Fast and will publish additional books on piloting and his charity soon.
Sri earned a pilot licence over 20 years and has flown extensively in a single engine aircraft in the UK, Europe, Africa, and the USA
He was the Managing Director for UK and Europe in the nineteen eighties for one of India’s largest business group, The Birla group.
About Smruti Sriram
Smruti Sriram OBE is Chief Executive of Bags of Ethics (Supreme Creations). She is a second-generation entrepreneur, with her father, who remains Chairman of the business, Dr R. Sri Ram founding the company in 1999.
Smruti is passionate about kindness and collaboration in business, and has led many partnerships in fashion, education, and conservation, including with British Fashion Council, Fashion Trust Arabia, Queen’s Green Canopy, and Green Tree Badge.
When she was 18, she co-founded Wings of Hope Achievement Award, working with over 40,000+ students in the UK, to support educational projects in India and Malawi.
She’s recognised by BBC’s 100 Women, Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman Award and Management Today’s 35 under 35. Smruti is alumnus of the University of Oxford, where she read Philosophy, Politics and Economics and holds an MBA from London Business School.
She was awarded an OBE in His Majesty The King’s, New Year’s Honours list 2025, for Services to Fashion.
